Lusum Optio Basketball Ball Indoor Outdoor PU Leather Size 5, 6 and 7

After seeing David Beckham kicking a football in Burford (Costwolds, UK) with some young lads in April this year, I thought to myself, “Crikey, I’ve gotta have some of that!”.. so I bought this basketball from Jeff B.After 3 nights of light sleep due to being filled with excitement, anticipation and anxiety,, a van pulled up outside my humble abode. What was in reality, just a hardworking gentleman in a high-vis jacket approaching my front door with a parcel branded with my name, had the strongest Jesus like presence with (I swear) a light aura surrounding his body. The world became numb, all of life as I know it escaped my conscious and my focus was on the package and the contents inside that lay in front of me on my doorstep as high-vis Jesus walked back down my drive to this van.20 minutes later I find myself, holding this fully inflated ball in front of me. The world becomes silent. And my senses progress to a state of overdrive. I finally have it, a fully inflated basketball – plump and ready for play. I hear a voice.. “just bounce me, please”. I rise to my feet, a smile so wide I feel it touching my earlobes. I look up, shut my eyes, feel the sun on my face and bring myself into the present. I take a big breath in, and a big breath out. I open my eyes, gaze quickly at the ball in front of me and throw it down to the ground. It bounced back up with pure enthusiasm, raw energy and with a sound that I will remember forever. It was a raw experience. Filled with euphoria and emotion.I wake up. My father picking me up off the floor. My head pounding and my lip bleeding. He tells me I’ve passed out after hearing the ball bounce for the first time outside. Still on the floor, I look to my left and see the ball just next to me, unharmed. My slight concern for what had just happened escaped me, and I was happy again. Buy this ball.

I've been playing basketball for nearly 40 years, up to national league level and for the last ten years international masters tournaments, so I know Basketball, both good and bad. This ball is essentially a China version of the Molten GGX7, and it's an almost flawless copy. For the price you absolutely can't go wrong, do I still prefer a Molten, yes of course, but do I want to pay £30 extra, he'll no! For kids, schools, colleges, local team practice it's perfect, save the Molten for match balls, that's what I'm doing. Great price, great product, highly recommended.

This ball is not bad at all, feels soft like a proper indoor ball but does not scratch or wear down quickly when used outdoors like an indoor ball does. I have been using this ball for a month consistently now and it is holding up very well. Grip wise its got really nice panel design which are a good depth making you feel in control and good for shooting but the ball itself as a whole is slippery so not great for handling the ball and dribbling also when you get sweaty this problem becomes so bad the ball is almost like a bar of soap. But I do not see this as a negative just a way to get my handles sharper.

Okay. I've only taken out the ball twice. And it is my first leather personal leather ball. I've played with friends who had proper balls. This compares very well to the branded ones. I love the bounce. Sounds great on the outdoor court I use. It has a good feel to it. No problems dribbling or shooting (other than my lack of skill :-)). Some have suggested that this ball is slippery. I've had no problems with it. I actually like the way it spins on my hand when it bounces off the ground. I don't know how long this will last but for the moment I'm really loving this ball!

Played outdoors with this one. Very slippery with no grip. Dribbling and shooting needs a lot more effort with a slippery ball. Quality and feeling isn't close to the Molten BGM7X that this is supposed to be a replica of.

Excellent quality ballReally nice ball. Great quality. I really cannot fault it.I wouldn’t expect it to come with a pump but i saw it was one of the options to choose if you don’t already have 10 of them in your home like me.

Excellent value for money with a great feel of a professional ball. Used for my son’s youth basketball and a good alternative at this age to the pro balls.

Leather feels very good, just right. So far it is resisting the scratches and such from playing outdoors. Very pleased after a month of use
